today, presidential candidate john mccain's top two aides, campaign manager terry nelson and chief strategist john weaver, resigned.
according to the washington post: "The news broke as McCain took the floor of the Senate to restate once again his support for the Iraq war and President Bush's troop surge strategy."
i give. i was wrong. happily. what a chump.
